LHRS is a ready-to use business system which
allows operation of online hotels reservation service on your
site. The system consists of Front Office (interactive users
interface) and Back Office (system administrator interface).
The system is a result of 2 years research and development by
Lithuanian tourism organization "Tourism Fund of Lithuania" and
Loris development team. Built on 2 years experience, the system
integrates both time-proved business model of operating such
service and highly tuned to its users' needs (clients, hotels
and system administrators) software environment.

Support for dynamic HTML templates allow to
easily design the system according to your needs. Templates
are used for web pages (both Front and Back Ends), emails,
vouchers and so on. |
1.4.1. Directory-style navigation: Areas > Countries >
Cities > Hotels > Hotel information, pricing and booking.
1.4.2. Comprehensive hotel search ability on various
parameters (city, room types, class, prices, services and so
on).
1.4.3. Comprehensive room search ability (availability,
min. number of available rooms, city, prices, room types).
1.4.4. Detailed hotel information: Hotel contact
information (address, telephone, fax, email, and internet),
Hotel class (stars), full description, extra services, full room
and room pricing information, comments on hotel by registered
system users, time-sensitive availability and pricing.
1.4.5. Easy reservation forms for both real time (with
immediate online payment and voucher receipt) and non-real time
reservations (request is sent to a hotel and then confirmed or
declined).
1.4.6. Multi-currency support to convert room prices to
other currencies.
1.4.7. Ability to purchase additional hotel services
(such as shuttle, extra bed in room and so on) within one
reservation.
1.4.8. Online payment processing (when registered with
payment gateway, such as WorldPay.com) and immediate generation
of vouchers (for both accommodation and additional hotel
services).
1.4.9. Automatic customer registration to the system on
first reservation. Ability to log-in during next reservations
with forms auto-completing.
1.4.10. Customer log-in to the system using e-mail address
and password. Ability to view all reservations and vouchers,
view/modify personal profile and leave comments on hotels.

Back End provides all-in-one system
management options such as adding/modifying hotels, setting
prices and availability, uploading pictures, generating
reservation reports and so on. |
1.5.1. Full separation of functionality, design and
language. Design is defined by a set of HTML templates that can
be edited with any HTML editor. All text messages are separated
into database table for easy editing and/or translation to
another language. Separate templates for e-mail messages and
vouchers.
1.5.2. Flexible system configuration. Configuration file
includes various variable system parameters, such as database
login/password, currency settings, number of hotels per page on
different pages and many other parameters.

2. Typical reservation procedure:
2.1. Visitor logs into the system (optional)
2.2. Visitor selects a hotel using either search form or
directory navigation.
2.3. On selection of check-in/out dates, time-sensitive
information on room availability and pricing as well as all
available discounts are presented to visitor.
2.4. If rooms are available for the period:
2.4.1. Visitor is presented with a reservation form. If
visitor has logged-in, the form is auto-completed with visitor’s
profile information.
2.4.2. Visitor is given a selection of additional
bookable hotel services (such as shuttle, extra meal plans and
so on).
2.4.3. After confirming room/services selection, visitors
is passed to real-time credit card payment page.
2.4.4. On successful credit card payment, visitor is
given vouchers for accommodation and all services that he/she
has ordered.
2.4.5. Visitor arrives at the hotel and presents
reservation/service vouchers.
2.5. If rooms are not available for the period:
2.5.1. Visitor is presented with a reservation form. If
visitor has logged-in, the form is auto-completed with visitor’s
profile information.
2.5.2. Visitor is given a selection of additional
bookable hotel services (such as shuttle, extra meal plans and
so on).
2.5.3. After confirming room/services selection, e-mail
requests with reservation details are sent to system
administrator and/or hotel.
2.5.4. System (hotel) administrator has a choice to
immediately confirm/decline the reservation (by clicking a
corresponding link in the email) or open internet form and send
comments to the customer (such as alternative offer and so on).
2.5.5. If reservation has been manually declined, the
customer receives declination e-mail.
2.5.6. If reservation has been manually confirmed, the
customer receives confirmation e-mail with links to service and
accommodation vouchers.
2.5.7. Customer arrives at the hotel and presents
reservation/vouchers.
